My Final Post!

Over the course of these last to months ive work to challenge the minds of my audience, by addressing issues that simply cant be explained in black and white. The main point that i tried to make with this blog is to use morality to question justice and righteousness.

humans are very independent and unique creatures, every person is going to have theirs own belief and views on particular points. Through this blog i hoped to break the grip that childhood, religion, peer pressure has had upon them. A truthfully set them free!

"the unbeaten path is the road less travelled" but just because it is take less does not mean that something amazing wont be waiting at the end. Find your own way live life for yourself, and do what you feel is right because at the end of the day you the person that your going to have to live with!

Stereo Types

While dealing with morality I think that it is very important to look at how people judge others. Whether being part of different social classes, ethnic groups, or even having different sexual preferences. Most tend to attach stereo types to the negative aspects of various groups; "girls arent as strong as boys" "blacks are lazy" "jews are cheap" but there are also stereo types that have positive connotation that place stress upon an individual that he or she might not necessarily fit; "Asian's are good at math" "Muslims eat healthy" "kids with glasses are smart".

the prejudging that we do called stereo typing limits our ability to make a connection and establish satisfying bond because we stick to what we think we know from "hear say" versus actually learning straight from the source. Stereo typing is morally incorrect!

WE SHOULDNT ASSUME THAT Tyrone is lazy because hes black, or that molly i well educated because shes white. For the world to be a better place we have to stop making assumption based on the groups people are associated with and take their worth for face value!  Make the effort to get to know your fellow man, and youll find more than what you thought you would.

WHO ARE WE TO SAY?

this video discusses a personal stand against abortion without religious influence.
this is a very rare instance in the fact that most people tend to associate laws with personal religious beliefs.
taking out the religious wouldnt you say the decision to have an abortion is a personal one?

The Dangers of Marijuana

What are the short-term dangers of smoking marijuana?

  • Impaired memory and inability to learn
  • Difficulties in thinking and problem solving
  • Distorted Perception
  • Anxiety attacks or feelings of paranoia
  • Impaired muscle coordination and judgment
  • Increased susceptibility to infections
  • Burning and stinging of mouth and throat
  • Impairment in driving skills
  • Increases the heart rate in normal people and worsens heart rate in with heart disease or high blood pressure.

These are also symptoms experienced with alcohol and cigarettes!

SO WHY ISNT WEED LEGAL YOU ASK?

"Well, that’s hard to answer. It's popular in the medical community, it's popular in the world community (concrete blocks, rope, t-shirts, food, soap, are just some items made out of hemp) as it is a cheaper natural alternative. But it seems like since it is so easy to grow and anyone would be able to grow it that America cannot make any money off of it. So they make it illegal and millions of innocent men and women go to prison every year because of some weed." drugiris at  the mancouch blog

what other reasons are there, the health risk of cannabis, vs. tobacco and alcohol are pretty much equal so it cant be the social health that the government is concerned about? and the government is only suppose to worry about the protecting its people so can you explain the reason for weed being illegal?

I DO NOT ABUSE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE!

You Times 2!

What exactly is cloning?
Cloning is the creation of an organism that is an exact genetic copy of another. This means that every single bit of DNA is the same between the two!
You might not believe it, but there are human clones among us right now. They weren't made in a lab, though: they're identical twins, created naturally. Below, we'll see how natural identical twins relate to modern cloning technologies.

Arguments in favor of cloning- infertility, genetic illness, vanity, super humans, curing diseases, body replacements, because we can.

Arguments against cloning- playing god, religion, determining gender, sexual orientation, sub-human, embryo risk, embryo killing, create-a-baby, human rights.

Personally i feel like many things in life cloning should be the choice of an individual, because ultimately every individual has to look after their self because in the end they are judged for what they have done in their life. We cant force religion on people, or expect them to life a certain way  because we do. And religion aside if were using cloning to help people why would it be considered negative?

JOHN Q!

RIGHT OR WRONG?

Martin Vs. King

Earlier I post about Trayvon Martin a 17 year old young man innocently gunned down by a man who was completely in the wrong. I also discussed the Rodney King and the LA RIOTS. Comparing both of these cases I feel is very important to understand today's justice system and how it desperately needs to be reevaluated.

This blog is meant to question morality- the conformity to the rules of right conduct; moral  or virtuous conduct. Also moral  quality or character.

So now understanding the definition of morality can someone explain how 3 police officers can be fired and charged for beating a criminal to roughly; who had lead them on a high speed chase and refused to surrender when apprehended, while a neighborhood watch president who apparently was self appoint can nearly get away with murdering an innocent teenager?

A police officer beating someone to place them under arrest VS. a random guy killing an innocent child because he's looking for trouble?

Its seems to me that in order to make a change people cant passively stand by and peacefully fight for change, because the world just push them over. Its ashame that people have to act like idiots to be heard but it seems like its the only way they can be heard in a timely matter. The Rodney King incident lasted 1 months and 26 days from the beating to the conviction of the police officers. Its already been more than 2 months on the Trayvon Martin case....

Rodney King

Once upon a time there was a man named Rodney King. Rodney was a man that had several run ins with the law. One day Rodney decided that it was a good idea to drink with his friends and drive. Mr. King had all ready been on parole for a previous robbery conviction. So when a police team of police officers went to pull him over, he thought that it would be best to lead them on a high speed chase! At the end of the chase Rodney's friends were arrested without incident, but Rodney felt that it would be best to give a show. "When finally stopped, King refused requests to get into the prone position and appeared to charge one of the officers.  He was beaten and arrested.  King was charged with felony evading.  Charges were later dropped."

THE END

Because of the way police approached this highly sensitive situation there was an up roar in the black community of LA which later became known as the LA RIOTS. It can be suggested that had King or the officers in this situation been of a different this would have been just another routine high speed chase.

why were Kings charges dropped; did he not evade police?
was he not over the legal alcohol limit for driving?
was he not also under the influence of marijuana?

Just to make things clear im not defending what the L.A.P.D. did to Rodney King, the way they handled that situation was totally uncalled for and as an officer of the law no matter how intimidating the situation they should always have composure. But those officers were convicted and charged for their actions... Just like these officers that were convicted for taking their job to far, King should be charged for inviting the opportunity. Had he been doing the right things he would not have gotten beaten...

other sources even say that Kings taunting had the L.A.P.D. on  edge but they cant be verified

Trayvon Martin

Recently there was a news story dealing with the case of Trayvon Martin a 17 year old boy that was gunned down by 28 year old  George Zimmerman; due to suspicion. The shooting took place February 28, 2012 and is still a hot topic on tongues of many. Though Trayvon Martin was not part of any criminal activity the night of his murder, George Zimmerman was able to escape jail time as Florida police explained this instance to be self defense.
Activist who seek to put Zimmerman behind bars push peacefully through marches and speeches. Its been 2 months and Zimmer was just convicted of muder, and is now awaiting trail. Zimmer man is currently out on bail.

why hasnt more been done for the justice of the desist Martin and his familiy? how long while this process take?  Would this process still be happening if people had taken a strong stand?

Peacefully Waiting ....

The Civil rights movement  took place from 1954 to 1968.
Though there were occasions in which the civil rights movement followed a violent path, the majority of its  motions were peaceful. Do you think that the peaceful approach the civil rights activist is what took so long for them to be heard?
If we look at past and current events in U.S. history we can see it takes no time for the U.S. government to lend aid to other countries in need of support, especially when there is a threat to lives! Why did it take 14 years for the struggles of those african american activist to be heard?

Power Behind the Voice!

Some argue that "violence is not the answer" but how do you find away to be heard when society does not take you seriously; during the summer of 2011 students riot in London over rasied school prices. What else could they have done to get their point across and aquire an equal magnitude of attention?

I"ll Pay You Not To Have Kids!

Is it ok to pay or bribe people to make choice that you feel will be best for them...?
An American charity called Project Prevention does just that, they pay people they feel are not fit to be parent to undergo vasectomy and tubal ligation. One instance they payed a Brtish herion addict $315 dollars, to prevent him from "in the hopes of preventing him from passing his addiction on to the next generation". Many people would question the morality and views of this charity, seeing that they take the easy way out by ensuring that these addicts have no part in tomorrow versus helping them through recovery.

What are you thoughts on the subject: Do you support Project Prevention? why or why not
                                                          Are they morally correct?
Do you belive that this will help many addicts?
